[Solved] Retouch tool: how to show shapes when blurring scales

image
Hi.
I can’t see shapes already drawn on certain scales, regardless if I switch on/off the show shapes arrow.
What am I missing?

Hum, I found a workaround: just reset the preview levels, turn on shapes visibility, then turn on the auto levels again:

Hi Rei!

What happens if you click on the autolevels icon
in the preview single scale section?
What happens if you separate those three indicators
manually?

Have fun!

Hey Claes!

These were the steps until I found the “issue”:

1 - Dragged the scales bottom slider to the right to get 6 scales;
image
2 - Activated the blur tool;
image
3 - Selected desired scale to work with;
image
4 - Zoomed in to the image region to work with
5 - Clicked on the Display wavelet scale button;
image
6 - Applied auto levels to show the scale details;
image
7 - Applied both path and drawn shapes
image
8 - Clicked on the arrow to show the shapes and they didn’t show at first;

After that, I switched to Lighttable and back to Darkroom, then opened the retouch tool, reset the display levels, then reapplied auto levels and the shapes showed up.

I’m writing this from memory so I’m not discarding something that I may have done the wrong way.

Anyway, the shapes are showing now.

Btw, this tool rocks!

EDIT: Something useful to know: if you change the display levels, either manually or auto, and then you change the zoom, you may loose details on the screen. You must reapply auto levels again.
