Something seems to have changed for the better - Darktable 4.4.2 - on Windows 10 - faster editing.

Wow, I am usually one to be a bit skeptical about upgrades, to avoid potential regression. Just moved from a pretty now old version 3.something to 4.4.2, and editing my 1st photo, of a birthday cake, wow - definitely darktable is faster.

Will look into this later, but I was so startled, I had to share the 1st impressions. Long may this improvement remain.

Purchased. The chocolate balls at the top are actually Ferrero Rocher, never had that in a cake.
