Hi

I am having a problem with stacking images. When I stack “manually” by going through the Conversion, Calibration, Registration … process everything seems to work fine. But each time I rung the OSC_Proprocessing script, I run into this problem:

I’m kind of missing what software this concerns. Stacking with what?

Seems to be Siril, based on OSC_Pr>>>o<<<processing → OSC_Pr>>>e<<<processing. I’ll adjust the category.

SalAstro: you should reset your image directories, because apparently you have mixed some images that don’t belong together in one of them, remove the process directory too.

Did that. Still same problem. This only appears in the most recent release of the beta version. Never had this problem in the past.

This log is not something specific in the last version no. Check all your input directories. You have a mix of images.
Looks like your images are already debayerd when it should not be the case during calibration stage.

Then why can I stack them “manually” and only get this problem when I use the script?

All images came from the same source, same setup, same time, nothing special about them …

You have a mix of 1layer image and 3layers images. Your lights are already demosaiced. They shouldn’t. If you do use debayerd images, then calibration step should be avoided.
This is normal the script cannot continue.

OK. Thanks. Will have to try with a different setup, but honestly I did not change anything during the exposure of 120 images …

I get this error also, but not computer literate so no idea what I need to do to fix it. I use ZWO 533MC Pro and ZWO ASIair+ and an M1 Macbook Air. Is there a way to see if the images are 1 or 3 layers? And if so, what did I likely do to cause this?
This may also explain why ASIStudio DeepStack no longer works on most of my images.
But ASTAP still works.
Very weird but all must have a common thread.
