Hi, I am using Siril Linux version 1.2.0 beta 2. I downloaded the Starnet command line linux zip file, unzip it and move the directory to the target location. Then I chmod 755 for files: starnet++ and run_starnet.sh to make them executable. I then set the in the Misc section of the preference to point the starnet location to starnet++. However when I try to start starnet from Siril, it said it cannot find any executable in the designated location. Any step I missed?
run Siril using the Linux Terminal. ANd please, copy and Paste the output.
Running using terminal, output:

This is upto I call up starnet and it says there is no executable.
Hi, any comments on this. I am now using rc-1 and still StarNet is not available. The terminal output:

/home/esther/Astronomy/StarNetv2CLI_linux/starnet++
/home/esther/Astronomy/StarNetv2CLI_linux/run_starnet.sh
The last 2 lines are registered when I try to change the path to StarNet in the preference. No matter I set the file to starnet++ or run_starnet.sh, the system says no executable found. I already set chmod 777 to these files so permission should be fine.
Please could you try with other packages than AppImage?
I try the Flatpak version, same results.
And with the PPA repository?
Are you sure starnet cli works on your machine?
I tried the PPA one, not working. I do not use StarNet so not sure if it is working. I try to execute the cli command in a terminal and it crashes. So it is not working. But I see this as 2 issues. First there are some issues in my computer that make the CLI crashes. But the fact that it does execute in the first instance show that it is recognized as an exeutable file. Siril does not recognize this, so this might be another issue.
You need to make StarNet CLI work before any attempts to integrate to Siril.
