Stone Monk from Thailand

Something different. This guy waited for a long long time in the basement for his portrait appointment.

Looking forward to what you can do to this monk. Maybe you can make this image even more minimal?

Another quick play.
A blend of 0 and +3 EV in Enfuse, then into GIMP. Used my luminosity mask plug-in (five masked layers) to adjust brightness and contrast.

Tried to remove the gold on his sash - still a little rough but you get the idea.

After all those years in the basement, I thought I’d warm him up a bit

darktable 5.3.0 using Agx.
Specifically adjusted the gold using colour equaliser: decreased brightness increased saturation. There was no need for two instances but I wasn’t certain I would use the same masking. Which I did.

SSecond attempt to upload xmp…
