I come through here every morning on my way to work and every evening on the way back. I love the lines, the colors but I wanted to capture a bit of mystery as well. So I waited until a moment where nobody was using the escalators and I snapped a few shots with the Samyang 8mm fisheye that I had brought especially to capture a bit of weirdness.
The raw file was processed in Darktable and I then proceeded in Gimp to use the perspective tool to line everything up. As a last step I used GMIC’s photoilustration filter on a layer with 50% transparency I then gave a bit of a pot-belly curve to darken the mood.
