I was in Faskally forest for the Park Run yesterday and noticed the leaves are starting to turn. It is a little early this year, possibly because the trees have been stressed by the long hot summer.
The colours are a little over-exaggerated, but give it a week or two…
I really like this version. I just downloaded the .xmp and have spent the last 10min looking at it and switching modules on and off. I nearly fell off my chair when I saw the stack of 8 instances of color balance rgb!
I’m impressed… the end result looks almost like a painting, yet natural as well.
Thank you very much for your nice comment.
I’m glad you like it…
The fault that it has so many instances of balane color is his fault @difrkaguilar who shared some presets for the color balance module. (if I remember correctly, he was not the author of the originals, but he modified them and shared them). colorbalancergb_Presets.zip (8.2 KB)
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who make this software better and better. They make and share…
Sorry for my english
Another play. I wished to see what extremes I could go to after my previous effort. All done in GIMP by way of an experiment.
Profound apologies to epeeist for what I have done to his image!
Thank you very much for sharing the presets! I look forward to trying them out… I’m sure I will learn something too.
Buenos días! (I hope I got that right)
Hi,
I also took the liberty to play with your file. I tried to stay “natural” and put more weight on the cropping. I did one color / one B&W. Used darktable 4.0.
Nice shot, btw.!
Have a nice day, bye, Spotty 20220917_0019_01_sw_sml.tif (2.0 MB) 20220917_0019_sml.tif (5.0 MB)
