The morning before Christmas Eve

On December, 23rd I went for a walk. The weather was gray and overcast but there was nice hoarfrost in some places. So, I tried to make the best of it. Here is a shot of green blackberry leaves. Wonder what you can create out of it.

No, I cannot develop it much better than what you did

Hoarfrost as well as snowflakes are very difficult to catch.
Believe me, I have tried…

Addendum: hmmm, unless one would like to put emphasis on the spider’s web — but it is difficult to let that survive the de-noise module…

Have fun!

I’m assuming that your green is the way you saw it, made mine stand out a bit more from the background. Making greens colder was also in the back of my mind, but that’s not as easy to do as I thought without making it too obvious/ugly.

Thx for the image. Had my go at it in DT 3.8 :
(1) crop (2) vignette + darken right side (3) de-saturated the image except two leaves (3) color-balance’d the 2 inner leaves.

Here’s a filmulator version, seems to pick up alot of the warm background color without adding saturation. Highlight rollof 0.36, film area max, drama 40.

That’s what I liked about the subject, warm background, green leaves and the cold ice. Very nice version!
