I am pleased to see dpreview has not disappeared. I thought it was headed into oblivion. I hope some fair reviews of FOSS programs get posted on the site including for darktable. I might even consider if I am capable of putting something together. I would encourage others to consider giving reviews. In my opinion it is truly one of the best programs for editing our images.

Some other wrote about past versions, but someone knowing the software well and the new feature and increased speed and stability, would be more suited than me. I just use it for 1 month.
Like this one. Or you can wait and they will write one, maybe not knowing as much the software.

In the past the big blog sites have liberally “borrowed” from our blog posts, but since we haven’t done one, we have received less coverage lately.
I don’t think you need to be that well versed to write the article. Look at the release notee, look at the manual, play with the feature a little bit, write something, take a screenshot.
