I’m using the flatpak version of dt 5.2.1under Linux Mint 22.2 and I was trying all day to get the Hugin and enfuse Lua scripts to work - but so far to no avail.
It took me forever to find the ‘tools’ option under Scripts and enable the ‘executables’ menu as advised in a different thread. That finally enabled me to set the path for Hugin and enfuse (to be on the safe side, I also set the path for the hugin_executor, although I’m not quite sure what that does), which are both installed via the packet manager (and NOT as flatpak, which seems to cause trouble, as mentioned in yet another thread) and are located in /usr/bin/.
However, when trying to run Hugin (through the export options), a little status overlay comes up reporting that images are exported, and that Hugin will be run. But then the status overlay vanishes and nothing further happens. Likewise, when I enable ‘enfuse advanced’ under Scripts, it fails to show up in the light table menu.
One possible issue could be hiding behind the ‘current’ folder in the ‘executable’ configuration dialog (which is auto-populated when selecting the executable file):
As far as I can tell, the /run/user/#uid folder is a transient systemd version of the tmp folder (which Hugin expects), so this could be an issue. But there is no way to manually edit the ‘current’ path.
Is there a solution to this conundrum?
