I am a total beginner.
I am trying to combine a render I made with Blender which is in the color space “Filmic Log” with frames from a video that is in “sRGB.”
When I imported the Blender I selected “input/Filmic Log” in File Colorspace and when I imported the video I selected “sRGB” in the color space.
It looks good in the viewer but when I write to a file the video part is completely dark while the colors on the Blender render are fine.
I can’t figure out what I did wrong and I don’t even know what to look for.
In your write node you also have to choose the output “File colorspace”. You probably want to set it to “sRGB” for viewing the resulting file on a computer. Leave the “input colorspace” to default (that is “linear/linear”)
What you actually do is convert everything to linear/linear in the read nodes then convert to sRGB in the write node.
