unintended consequences

So an hour and a half looking for some superglue saved me 7 quid going out & buying some more. Yaayy!!!
30 mins with the superglue saved me 250 quid buying a new tripod. Yea… no wait. Aw shucks, how am I gonna justify that new carbon tripod now? Booo

Out of curiosity, what did you need to fix on your tripod?

No matter how much I tightened it, the lower leg section would just drop out. Got very annoying…
Turns out that threaded bit is supposed to be fixed to the upper leg. Nope, free as a bird. Filled it with glue and fixed it. Forever.
