Have you tried more than once ? I noticed some lags with the G’MIC website recently, and I can assure you that the file https://gmic.eu/update404.gmic exists!
Well it’s worse than expected, trying to access https://gmic.eu, I get this:
Well, I did a save link as and it works. Hopefully it’ll return back to normal.

@paulmatth Ah yes, with an old version of G’MIC like 2.9.4, there are no update files available anymore. In your case, this won’t come back one day or another 
Just curious, why do you stick with this version ?
Thanks for the explanation David. I recently installed Xubuntu 26.04 and that’s the G’MIC that came with it. I’ll try to install the newer version by hand.
(Btw, I do have a version g’mic 4.x-pre for Gimp on my system).
OK, that’s a good explanation.
It’s a pity that the G’MIC package in the official repositories for Debian/Ubuntu is still at version 2.9.4!
