I have not been able to find instructions for using a mask created in another module (and saved in mask manager) in the retouch module. This would be useful when a value adjustment is needed to match target and source. Think hazy skies. Retouch masks seem to be unique. Please prove me wrong!
Do you mean the brush you use to heal things in the retouch module? I don’t think that is a mask.

I’m referring to a shape created with the Path tool in Retouch. The shapes created in Retouch don’t show up in the mask manager list. Likewise there is no option to select a predefined shape for use in Retouch.
thats intentional. masks in mask manager are applied to the whole module, masks in retouch just to the area on a given layer to be retouched. different usecase, different tools
