and a 4:3 crop.
Filmulator +1 EV. In GIMP a colour boost using Colours/Components, slight adjustments using Colours/Curves to increase contrast in the sky and lighten the darkest areas.
Sorry for destroying the composition. I like the muted colors of the valley and the sky. Looks like a painting

Yes! the panoramic edit is the only option, the out of fokus & uninteresting bench detracts from the image, to be honest the original image is not one I would keep.
Dave, I wouldn’t agree that the bench is uninteresting - it does interest me and indeed gives a sense of reality. However I agree that it also distracts. I was thinking of doing similar to @Thomas_Do when I was scrolling through what others have done. I did start with just an ultra-wide panorama cutting off the bottom, and rapidly came to the same conclusion as Thomas - that the back of the image on the left had little detail, and the large, dark trees closer to camera distracted from the sunlit rolling hills. Hence my crop is almost identical. I sought to darken the foreground trees into little more than silhouettes, in order to put the emphasis even more on the sunlit fields. And I dialed up the vibrance and saturation to complete the fantasy look. It could be the shire near Hobbiton!
Edit: uploaded the first crop in error!
