Weird pattern after Background Extraction (only Siril 1.0.0 rc2)

Hi, so the newest Siril build makes a weird pattern when applying Background Extraction.
This only happens, when the Stacking was also done with Siril.

So in short:
Stacking in Siril 1.0.0 + Background Extraction in Siril 1.0.0 → weird pattern
Stacking in DSS + Background Extraction in Siril 1.0.0 → no issue
Stacking in Siril 1.0.0 + Background Extraction in Siril 0.9.12 → no issue

I tested on three different targets, always the same issue.

My hardware:
AMD Ryzen 2600x
Nvidia RTX 2060
16GB RAM

This happens when gradient has a low level difference. To fix that, you have the dither button in the background extraction tool. In Siril 0.9.12 the dither was automatic.

Probably you could avoid it by normalizing the output (option in the stacking tab).

Now that was a blazing fast reply. Dither Option fixed it, thanks!
Will try normalizing next time and see how it works

That’s one of the rare features of siril that possibly does not exist in other software and nobody knows about it
