I took a flower pic, and started to develop it in DT. I saw all these white spots (EDIT against the green backgroung roughly middle of the attached screenshot) and thought they were pollen grains initially, but they aren’t in the embedded JPEG nor in the JPG produced by the camera. Playing around with the history stack, most of them appear when capture sharpening is applied in the demosaic module. What’s going on? EDIT Dt 5.6 on Macbook air tahoe 26.5.2
(No spots in DXO photolab 9 either…please don’t beat me up for straying temporarily to the Dark Side).
Have you enabled exposure clipping indicator (‘O’ key) by any chance? It seems like the spots are in the darkest places and you can set the indicator to show white pixels for underexposed pixels
