Don’t know what I’ve done here, but images which look great in darktable are displaying elsewhere with what appears to be a completely messed-up colour profile.
See the attached screen capture for the difference.
The original image is a raw file, shot on an a7iii.
Processing in darktable is fairly minimal. I’ll attach the .xmp too.
Input colour profile is standard colour matrix, working space is linear rec2020 rgb. Output colour space is sRGB.
I’m sure it’s probably something stupid that I’m overlooking!
Export module is set to export jpeg (q=95), chroma subsampling auto, profile=image settings, intent=image settings, so nothing blindingly obvious (to me, at least).
Oh, and I’ve also opened the exported jpeg in Gimp, and it STILL looks messed up (like the right side of the screen cap), even though Gimp is set to ‘colour managed’.
So I’m thinking it HAS to be something I’ve done accidentally in darktable.
If anyone has suggestions, I’d welcome your advice!
OS is mx linux.
GPU is nVidia RTX3070.
