I looked in preferences and found where I am supposed to type something that will allow me to send images from RawTherapee to Elements 7, but I do not know what I should type in that space; what do I do ?

You need to put the full path to Photoshop Elements 7 in that space, probably something like C:\Program Files\Adobe\PSE\photoshop.exe".
