Its been 365 days since I joined pixls! As someone who is not usually a “joiner”, this place really has felt like a kind of home for me and my photographic butchery journey. From color management, the behind the scenes workings of dt, and the generous people who contribute in the Play Raw section (who have helped me better articulate and execute what I see) – I have learned a lot during my time here. I apologize for any eye bleeding I have caused along the way! Thanks to everyone here who has helped me on my path and I look forward to more years like this one!

I sympathize with your feeling towards this place. I just checked and I joined on the 16th of February 2022, so it’s gonna be the 4th anniversary in a few days. Sadly, time did fly by very quickly and continues to do so at an increasing pace.

That’s ok. Just let lose! But don’t sweet the small stuff, or you may loose it altogether. Especially on weakdays.
I’m English. Monoglot English (sadly, especially as I live in another country), But some of our spellings have been baffling me since childhood, and still do.
I remember how to spell weird by recalling that it begins with we
