I want to download RawTherapee to try it out but I cannot find the link. I can see the updates but not the main software.
Thanks Roel, on my Mac I clicked on the 5.7 2019090910, double clicked to install and Safari said it cannot open this file. I tried the Applmage button that didn’t work . Do I have to download everything from Sept 21 2006?
There is no mac build.

Yes, there will be, but we have only a few people who can build the Mac release image. Its coming! Or you can build it yourself

To be more precise, out of the 7.5 billion people on Earth, only one (1) makes macOS builds of RawTherapee, and he’s been AWOL for a while. So will there be a new macOS build? Well, as Michael Jackson said,

Unfortunately, online instructions for DIY builds seem to assume that you’ve familiar with compiling complex programs, and you simply need know the peculiarities of RawTherapee. This is rather like assuming that everyone walking into your dance studio knows how to dance, but just wants to learn the steps to an unfamiliar new dance or style.
your comment was not in any way helpful or contributing something useful to the discussion. the person you described will just have to practice one skill: patience. wait for the packager to find the time to build the dmg for OSX.

Working with software is a skill, as is learning to dance. The linked instructions are detailed enough that with some persistence I’m sure most could make the program compile. But you have to want to spend that time. If you don’t want to spend that time, that is OK, but you’ll have to wait for someone who will.
It can be a little overwhelming if you’re not familiar with it.
On the good side, there is a chance that the macOS builds will be automated soon as part of the CI/CD process so they might be available at the same time as other binaries!
I would be happy to build it if somebody could point me to how to put together the ‘make’ environment. If I had this then I would be happy to do this as a service for the community.
I will take a read here and see if I can get the build environment constructed on my laptop.
