I am using Ubuntu 24.04 and had to create a new partition table and then I installed Ubuntu new. Backup of the home partition is available.
I restored fetchmailrc, but it looks like this is not all I need. Eg my crop ratio from before is missing.
What do I need else?

You need to be a trust level 2 or higher to be able to edit your post. The recent spam wave made it so we had to enable that setting. You get to level 2 by participating.
Restore your images and ~/.config/darktable and you should be back to running.
You mean to restore the whole directory ~/.config/darktable/ ?
Where can I see my trust level? At least I am a member since years.
