White balance offset (for IR work)

Ilias
The response of RT seems normal, according to the internal calculation principle of the WB.
I wanted to compare with Photoshop CS5 and DPP, in 2 cases, the green channel (tint) is pushed to the extreme, in the same way as with RT.
The problem with IR is that there are many possibilities to get result : a) take into account the sensor, b) the type of filter is set before, c) the scene and its colors, etc.
If we wanted to do something sophisticated I could extend the range of wavelengths to reflect the values between 700 nm and 2000 nm, plot a curve (flat) would represent the IR spectrum, and do matrix computation with colors present on the CFA … but in whose interest? (This assumes that the user understands what he does…)

But as it works correctly now with SpotWB (although in some cases act on this slider will bring strange answers - just add it to the documentation), why add something that will complicate all (what I describe above, or your proposition)
