Will DT 5.2.x work on RHEL10?

I’m planning on putting up a test RHEL10 box, it’s free.

Can I use the fedora 40 from OBS? or will I have to use the appimage?

No. There is no way it is compatible.

To compile it myself, can I use the same build instructions as fedora?

you could actually ask the maintainer of the graphics:darktable OBS project if they want to enable building for rhel 10. OBS can do that.

You could even try building from the Fedora RPM spec file (I’d suggest bumping to gcc-toolset-14 on line 34).
