Hi,
if I open an unedited RAW file (ore after discarding history) in the input color profile module I see the working profile set to “linear Rec709 RGB”. since there is no history, this should be the default setting.
However if I press the module reset button, the working profile changes to “linear Rec2020 RGB”.
That sounds weird, which is the correct default setting ?

Cannot reproduce with current master where Rec2020 is the default after discarding history and kept when resetting the module . Which version are you using? (note that reporting an issue without at least saying which version and OS is used is not very helpful!).

I am using DT 3.0 RC2 on Windows 10.
Actually I can’t reproduce it either on my laptop (with the same version / OS). But on my fixed PC it keeps doing this.
I have no automatic preset in input color profile module.
Could it be some wrong setting ? Corrupted database ? I can’t figure out
I found that removing all the old sidecar .xmp files, the default becomes Rec2020.
It’s strange, the sidecar file should be removed when discarding hystory, or ?
