Good afternoon everyone.
Everyone did a bang up job clean up the noise on an ISO 12800. We are hopefully forget how much of a jerk I was.
Everyone was able to reduce the noise very efficiently, can this be done with just Darktable? This image is at ISO 3200 but is plenty noisy. It’s looks very much like the noise is from the Bayer pattern. It’s just a guess.
It is my dog zooming in the backyard again. I would more than happy to try the play_raw again if any one would like.
Bill you forgot the image…
I was going to ask first. I still feel terrible how I behaved.
Bill I didn’t follow the thread and to be honest at one time or another some of us have made posts that were perhaps terse or otherwise unintensionally offended someone…
Just like in real life we apologize and move on…As I said I have not followed this so I am not aware of what you are referring to but why not make fresh start then…go for it…
Where noisy dog?
I have no living knowledge about what you are talking here ![]()
Please do not, apologies were offered and accepted! And I’m not 100% confident about my own role too…
I do love noisy (=barking) dogs!
Lets move forward… ![]()
Done!
Thanks! I suggest opening a new topic in the playraw category with the two files and the usual license below. Maybe also repeat your question about how to deal with the noise there, then you might get some more written answers how people tackled the noise.
Still new and I forget every darn thing.
The latter is a function of the first. No problem mate :-).
I created a new post, hopefully correct this time.
TY for the cab file. Ill give it a try.
The fact that you can realize when you’ve done poorly and apologize for it is plenty good. On the scale.of things that have happened here, it wasn’t even that bad. It seemed to resolve quickly and I don’t think anyone here is going to hold of against you.
Let’s agree to move forward positively.
Agreed. Now, I just need to go shoot some deadpan stuff. I really want to give it a try.
