I am using Siril 1.0.6 and 1.2.0 on OSX 14. Both versions calculate the disk space of my 4TB SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD wrong. From the Finder it says there are 3.5TB left, but Siril only shows 1TB or less.
I do remember Siril 1.0.6 could read disk space correctly, which was a long time ago. Maybe because I upgraded my OSX from 13 to 14?
Disk space estimation has always been a problem with macOS. Not least because it manages disks in a different way. For example, there is purgeable memory that is not detected as free.
Try to remove this one, it could help.
maybe someday a mac developer will tell us the secret to computing the correct amount, if only the OS reported the real value…
