What if what I see as blue, you see as a slightly different blue because you’re using Chrome instead of Firefox and despite a decade of messing with profiles we STILL can’t get this right somehow.

I don’t think it’s a matter of being smart (okay, some are likely smarter), but of brain capacity. Computer science has evolved to a point where the layman cannot master it all, so we all have our fields of expertise and count on others to fill the gaps.

It’s funny, there was actually a book recently about this topic (something about “second machine age” or something like that). I actually pointed this out to an admiral recently at a meeting. Basically, we’re offloading knowledge and basic computational stuff so we can focus more on higher-order type of thinking/problems.

Admirals in Mobile are known to not care much about the details :slight_smile:
