Yellow hibiscus

Thank you, @Stampede, for reviving this category.

Here is my current experiment:

a yellow hibiscus just outside our front door.

Presumably it would become better if I got rid of that vertical white wood strip
in the background.

Very nice! I love the contrast and the transition of colors on the flower. I agree though that the white post needs to disappear!
