Thank you! You’ve warmed it up very nicely and the black+white looks great, too.
@mlinfoot Welcome to the forum! Love the expression of Zorro. Feel like he is thinking:
Really?! He’s taking a photo of me now?! Oh well, I am too comfortable to move anyway.
He was the perfect model, never once complained about how long I was taking!
Thanks! And welcome!
Photoflow, Basic Adjustments (Exposure), Tone mapping (linear+log), curves, crop

Welcome to the community!
Hi Thomas. Thanks for taking the time to play with this.
Thank you!
Nice image @mlinfoot. Going down and taking the shot from his eye level has made this photo special. Nice work! I noticed that the photo was taken more than two years ago. I hope that Zorro is doing well even now.
I used the latest Photoflow and used the Tone mapping (filmic ?) module only on Zorro. Then desaturated the rest of the image a bit, sharpened Zorro to get this

Thank you! He’s a special guy and still doing very well. I like your edit, too!
Couldn’t help but to play with this beaytiful image a bit more! Added one more layer to the previous processing to increase saturation of and brighten Zorro.
You’ve really nailed the colours in his face! He’s lying beside me at the moment and as I glance from him to your photo, there’s not much difference. Thanks for this!
Here is my attempt. Photoflow with a multiply blend to increase the contrast, a bit of local contrast enhancement and a final crop:
Photoflow w reversal TM. In a decent job the hand should go at the beginning of the layer stack, but I don’t know how to move layers in PhF and anyway everything started to crumble, I am actually unable to re-open me own pfi. But the picha ich hear

Haha! You know Zorro would not be the patient, perfect model if that was a real bone on the floor! I’m very happy that you had some fun with this. Manners, smanners
