Windows 11 - Siril v1.2.4 commit d1d5ea0 is associated with FITS files.
On opening a file from Windows Explorer the Scripts menu button does not appear as per this image 
The console window (per attached text file) shows “scripts: Error opening directory …” and a “Gtk-Warning ** : : Couldn’t export handle, unsupported windowing system”

I am aware that previous advise is to delete the Script Storage Directories entries, I do not think this advise would be appropriate here.
If a second instance of Siril is then opened from Start, the Scripts button is available. First instance is still open.
My observation is that opening a file direct from Windows Explorer causes an issue where the Script Storage Directories entries cannot be found, yet with the no Scripts button Siril still open, starting another instance of Siril from the Start menu, the scripts are found and the button appears as expected as per image :-
