ART 1.21.3 & green blob

It’s fixed in master. Until the next release, just don’t use CA correction from the embedded metadata (you can use raw ca correction as an alternative)

Done! :grinning:

Unclicked the chromatic aberrations and it’s gone.

What’s the difference between:

  • raw > chromatic aberrations corrections
  • transform > profiles lens correction > distortion to correct > Chromatic aberrations.

Thanks

It’s just two different solutions for the same problem. Raw ca correction works only for Bayer files, and operates before demosaicing, which is good for the quality of the demosaicing (less artifacts to begin with). In my experience it works well in general, but of course it’s useless if you don’t start from a Bayer raw file.
The other algorithm is based on the metadata provided by the manufacturer; it should therefore be reasonably accurate, but the algorithm itself has been reverse engineered so it’s probably not 100% identical to what the camera does. And the implementation in art was buggy

You already fixed the problem, so it may not make sense, but
for reference, problems may occur with the raw files of Olympus camera models equipped with Sony sensors, but there may be no problems with models equipped with Panasonic sensors.
Also, there seems to be no problem even if you convert it to a dng file once.
