I am always simultaneously fascinated and disappointed by space. Since I was young, I have always been into sci-fi and loved the idea of visiting other celestial bodies. And then the pictures come back and it’s always just a lump of rock 
I know there is so much more to space, and there could be some incredibly exciting planets/moons out there. But what we are capable of imaging at the moment (in detail) merely emphasizes how unique Earth seems to be.
