If it’s an AC blowing on it, the air coming out of the AC vents should have some temperature differential from the ambient / thermostat temperature. Usually around 15-20 degrees (F) is what an HVAC system aims for but I’m not sure about stand-alone units or anything like that. When they test HVAC systems they put digital thermometers in the intake and output vents to make sure the temperature differential is appropriate.
As long as there’s no evaporative cooling going on it should make no difference. Kind of like the outside thermos on private aircraft that are basically a dial-indicator pen type thermometer mounted through a hole in the windshield of the plane.
But in practical terms the air coming directly out of an AC vent is typically much cooler then the general ambient temperature in the room it’s cooling, after “mixing”.
It won’t have the same temperature. It will be colder, as it is being blown into the room to cool the room. This has nothing to do with a “sweating to get a cooling effect”, it is an air conditioner working to get cooler air into the room.
