I think I’ll wait a while and look for 4.6.1 in Flatpak.

I was finally able to get access to my USB SSD with the DT Flatpak. I had to open up the SSD mount point in Flatseal. I added it to Other files in Filesystem. Now DT will load my raw files. Not Recursive, though, as that seems to be another issue.

Recursive import is a known bug. It’ll be fixed in 4.6.1

I plan to create tutorials on Youtube in the future. As a new darktable user, I encountered issues importing raw files in version 4.6.1. I learned that these problems will be resolved in the upcoming version. Can you tell me when it will be available for Ubuntu 22.04/Mint 21.3?

The project will release 4.6.1 around the end of February. Then each distro packager will need to make it available in their systems. Older systems (eg. 22.04) might not get them latest one from the distro. If so, you will need an alternate source.
