Correct way to work with color managed applications?

I started drawing a chart that explains the basic high level steps. Maybe we can tweak it until there are no errors left and it’s clear enough to be of help. I assumed that the image is in AdobeRGB color space and that the application has a working profile of sRGB (not true for darktable, but it’s just an example …). [image]
