Color management question

I made above 3 experiments that I think definitively illustrate what happens:

  • experiment 1: gamma coded image with embedded ICC, view in no profile and embedded profile

  • experiment 2: linear encoded image vith embedded ICC, view in no profile and embedded profile

  • experiment 3 :linear encoded image without embedded ICC, view in no profile and embedded profile

I could add gamma encoded image without embedded ICC, but it will not bring new information.

From those experiments I can conclude:

is true

is true with the precison of gamma (non-linear) encoded

from experiment 2 and 3, I cannot completely agree.
in no profile, the data are pushed unchanged into the working space (prophoto linear here) while they are linearlycoded with sRGB primaries thus becoming very saturated but brighness is ok. I suppose that if the working space is “sRGB linear” colors will also be ok.(to be tested edit: testedok).
In embedded profile, if there is no embedded ICC (see exp 3), they will look too dark
