My attempt at creating “crispiness” for the subject was to de-emphasize everything outside the subject with both blur and vignette. Masking was my challenge - I have much more to learn (you’ll notice that the mask doesn’t smoothly transform around the sail. Also just learnt that vignette in the default application is “relative” to the image and not absolute. So if you get vignette just right and then crop - vignette is now in a totally different place! Live and learn.
