i just build it using the build instructions on darktables github without really knowing exactly what’s happening under the hood.
So i won’t change stuff that’s simply working for me …
Worked fine on my older PC running …but my builds on my Intel box have to be generic to work on my and machine so I hear what you are saying
current master + exiv2 0.27.4 + preliminary Canon CR3 support

Just tried using 3.6.0 canon_cr3 branch, but was unable to load .CR3 from my Canon EOS Rebel SL3
After some tinkering got it working with a simple change and sent a PR upstream:

Hi Martin, besides CR3 support are there any other developments released in this version?
It’s current master and contains the stuff merged at build time

Hi Martin,
I used the improved rotation and perspective module in the previous build and it was very impressive because it allowed me to select the four corners manually to square up a shot. Great job by the developer. The build seemed very stable as well.

since cr3 support via libraw is merged into master i won’t provide further builds based on rawspeed an never merged cr3 pull request
So switch over to next darktable windows insider program build if you need current master with cr3 support …
Thanks for providing those builds @MStraeten !
