darktable 4.0: 3763 Days Later

Now after 4.0 we have excellent 4.2 for a week - thanks for all those who contributed. But I’m curious to learn what happened to this:

A new color equalizer module will be able to replace the existing color zones module. It will be compatible with HDR signals and use the new darktable Uniform Color Space 2022, with a simplified UI, built-in gamut mapping against pipeline RGB space and a protection against chroma noise. It will complement the color balance RGB module for minor and fine-grained color tweaks such as color replacement.

Could not find this module on github either.

It was only experimental and is the work of Aurelien who has left the project. I see recently he did a little fix on it in the dev branch of his Ansel fork… But for now there is no color eq… at least as envisioned by AP…
