I completely rethought my initial edit. I go to the beach fairly frequently, and the scenes are not nearly so dark as my prior post when the sunset is at this stage.

Red channel did not wanna get into sRGB gamut in this one. (white point at 7 instead of 10EV causes clipping but still looks okay) Focussed on the clouds here but I might do some more testing with this, brightening the people and setting AgX input primaries to P3 or sRGB

Edit: Different AgX settings (small difference in the brightest clouds) and brightened people. The sea behind them got brightened too, not sure if that effect works or not.
