Is this the deb provided by DisplayCAL for 19.10, right?
I’m pretty certain that’s the one I downloaded and installed on Kubuntu 20.04 & Linux Mint 20. Main issue is getting python2 installed.
Perhaps if there was a snap / flatpack of Displaycal available, this would solve the issue?

similar issues with Debian testing/Sid. Installed on testing but was removed during the upgrade to sid.
hey, looks like the problem is solved. Displaycal can be run form source if you have python2 installed.
