Foggy morning in the Duvenstedter Brook

Lovely capture!

Thought I’d try a diptych in GIMP (edited in dt, exported as tiff to GIMP for just the vertical black/white “borders”):

dt edit before export:

When I first looked at this in darktable I felt that there were a lot of different directions one could go with processing. The variety of the contributions has proven that. Here’s mine.

I’ve allowed myself a little “joy” in the editing.

Just a little touch in Lightroom. The shot itself is already epic!

I’m quite hapy with the foreground and the highlight but I was a bit hesitant to land on something definite regarding the blue sky. Also not sure if the transition between the sky and the highlights is a bit too harsh

I just signed up for pixls.us, so here’s my attempt

I don’t know if I got the sidecar file correctly exported from darktable:

Way late to the game, but @piratenpanda has provided such an inviting image to have a play with I couldn’t pass by without stopping. My attempt is using the latest RT dev build (5.12-178-g04b435a60). Love the foggy treeline so wanted to emphasize it with a pano-like crop while also trying to bring out the colour in the foreground and sky. Cheers.
