I don’t think there is entirely right or wrong. Just a version - what you like.
My version is below. Even if I am to start processing it again - from scratch - likely it will be something different. And that is okay.

This is nice! The warmer tone suits the model and the scene much better and also the enhanced Rembrandt benefits the portrait.
