I’m typically building with mi-malloc as it gives better performance. Other than that, I’m just using the default flags for Release mode.
For libraw, I build using cmake, thanks to the LibRaw-cmake project on github.
If you notice crashes, see also the other recent thread on the topic. In particular, if you can produce a backtrace from within gdb, that would be helpful.
