how to make darktable play nice with new MacBook Pro with apple M1Pro chip

I’m a darktable newbie with a new MacBook Pro with apple M1Pro chip. I’m wondering if that chip is compatible with darktable?

I look forward to hearing from folks…

M1 and M1Pro are ARM-based chips.

Determines CPU architecture and disables SSE2 codepaths on ARM. Does this by `un…ame -a`; this check isn't the most fancy on earth, but I guess it's an improvement over what we have right now. Will print CPU architecture as part of summary like so: For Arm: ``` darktable build script Building directory: /Users/jonas/dev/darktable/build Installation prefix: /opt/darktable Build type: Release Build generator: Unix Makefiles Build tasks: 8 CPU Architecture: ARM64 ``` For Intel: ``` darktable build script Building directory: /Users/jonas/dev/darktable/build Installation prefix: /opt/darktable Build type: Release Build generator: Unix Makefiles Build tasks: 8 CPU Architecture: Intel ``` Open question from my side: Do we want to check for `Darwin` or just `arm64`? As I have no other ARM64 system to compare, I can only test with `uname -a` on my Apple M1.
