inpaint: patchmatch invalid selection

Hi, I am trying to use g’mic inpaint multi-scale but keep getting this error

What’s the problem?

try change color for example “#FF0000”

does not help. I am not sure. Switched back to Windows, no problem with krita-gmic. unter manjaro 18 it does not work. not sure about the versions though
edit: in windows, it’s g’mic 2.3
