You have to understand, they grow twice in a year. They come up in the spring and a green shoot (and if you don’t recognize them as such, you can easily run them over by a lawnmower or weed eater); then die. In the Fall, they come back as these flowers. Even so, at least in my yard, they haven’t really spread much. Have 2 places that have these.
