There is Adobe’s LCP system, which is proprietary, but has been reverse engineered by projects like rawtherapee. You can’t redistribute the LCP files, so every used must go find their own. And by many reports, the LCPs are often far worse than profiles in Lensfun.
What I’m interested in would be a comparison of the Adobe DNG Opcode3 (distortion correction via the WarpReticlinear op) vs Lensfun vs Nikon embedded lens data. The latter is not yet available in either exiv2 or exiftool, although there’s exiftool work toward decoding it. Comparing Opcode3 vs Nikon would tell if they’re transforming the Nikon data, either vs Lensfun would indicate whether one is better-off measuring their own vs relying on either Adobe or the camera manufacturer… Yeah, I might try to come up with some sort of comparison between camera JPEG and the other two…
