I had some more time to play with it. It really is a terrific photo, with lots of shapes and lines, stark contrasts, expansive horizon, plus the turbulent cloud cover frames the shot so well.

Thanks for all the edits! I enjoy seeing how photographers all have different artistic visions for the same scene, and it is very helpful in learning darktable to have the history stack to show how that vision is achieved step-by-step. Here is my revision.
